Greetings!
December 21 has passed and we're still
Hangin' In There
Another crazy year has passed, filled with happiness and horror, successes and disappointments.
And we're here!
Six years ago (yes that long) when I became the owner of Weist-Barron, I never could have guessed what an all-consuming responsibility it would be. I've gained new insight and respect for founder Bob Barron. Bob seemed to be on full throttle 24/7. Now I understand why. When it's your business, your brain never shuts off. Unfortunately it doesn't leave time for much else. Traveling, socializing and extra activities only get squeezed in with much maneuvering. Luckily I love everything about what I do, and like the old saying goes. If it's something you love then it's not work.
Hangin' in there with me - My husband Don and I celebrate seventeen years together. Don's tireless positive support makes all things possible, and all things worthwhile. Hangin' in there with us, WB Office Manager Chuck Wagner celebrates a dozen years of holding the WB studios together with more imagination than Star-Trek's engineer Scottie.
Holiday Blessings to all our actors. We've been so happy and grateful to be a part of your career journey. We look forward to providing even more opportunities in the future.
Blessings on my WB family of instructors, staff, and guests. I am always grateful for your contributions and your friendships. Now we can also look forward to improvements and changes planned for the studios in the New Year because it seems the Mayans didn't mean "The End". They actually meant "Re-Birth".
We should have guessed! The Mayans must have been much more optimistic then us. We now have all these extra days and extra years to be grateful for. All these opportunities to love to grow and achieve. Unfortunately we also have more opportunities to try to understand why bad things happen. Our President has called on us to do better. We've proven we can be strong, smart and resourceful after tragedy strikes. Can we please be "re-born" and do better before the next storm comes, be it natural or man-made.
Sending positive energy to each and every one of you and the very best wishes for all our extra years to come.
Thank You for being part of our journey.
