Michael Ian Smith God Bless Mr. John King
Mr. King helped me when I was filming Simon Birch.
He was my mentor as well as my life counselor.
I guess you can call him my manager as well as agent.
I owe him my life and the fortune we both made with Simon Birch.
Over the last few years we have not been in contact but since Mr. King
has decided to make one more feature film he has asked for my help
as well as others in the industry.
I am now 23 and ready to play as written John's son.
Other's who's names appear on this thread will also be involved in this movie.
Contracts are in the making.
Show Biz News is how John discovered me and now Mr. King publishes the paper
so he has something to do on his down time.
It seems anybody who appeared on John's cable TV show will be included in the film
in minor roles or simply walk-ON's to have the audience get that good old
John King Show family feel again.
I know most of you who have had contact with Mr. King, like myself would take a bullet for him.
I wish I had more time to express how great a man Mr. King is.
It has been a pleasure and until we are all on the set.

Hmmm...you know what I think? I think your name is not Michael Ian Smith and your post is a total hoax.
John King doesn't help young British musicians, he never got anyone a paying gig in 25 years,
he never published you in the flypaper, he never heard of you and you never heard of him except for what I've been sharing on Usenet.
I'm sorry, but there are just too many holes in your story.
Nice try, but a note to everyone this is just a prank. Have you ever seen the name Michael Ian Smith in the flypaper or on the tv shows?

I had the pleasure of working with Mr. King on the Show Biz News Show a few years back.
I found him to be a complete gentleman and a most generous man. at the time I was slightly low on funds for a independent film I was trying to make,
and Mr. King without hesitation wrote me a check for $10,000 I never asked for anything in return.
his donations of money to charities and most resent a $100,000 dollar donation in helping the clean up and victims of the oil spill is one of his countless
efforts to help others in need. his key sense of timing in raising the money to help produce "under a pen name" Simon Birch made himself and
Ian Michael Smith millionaires. and God Bless you to Ian Michael Smith. reading in the trades of Mr. Kings return to movie making is very exciting.
not only will it bring old school back to the screen but provide much needed work for people in the entertainment industry.
I would just like to conclude as Ian Michael Smith said, God Bless You All and God Bless John King.

Surely such a benevolent soul as "Mr. King" has some sort of web presense, someplace where people might go to say hello to him
and thank him for such tireless good deeds that you say he is doing. Some sort of email? A website maybe?
And why is Mr. King not at all mentioned on this Ian Michael Smith's Facebook page?
And where can I find anything on the Internet regarding "the Show Biz News Television Show?"
Surely there must be some trace, some type of electronic footprint of any of these supposed "countless efforts" you claim Mr. King makes and is continuing to make.
If you don't provide at least one reference or obscure reference to any of these activities you claim
Mr. King makes than you know what I think? I think you're a person who gets thrills out of sending out false press releases,
in cahoots with Mr. King, or just trying to undermine my credibility when I write true stories about the incompetence and deviate activities of "Mr. King."
I don't mean in your fifth post down, rather your very next post you should provide us with a sliver of evidence to substantiate any of your claims.
And at least the title or a link to the independent film you were trying to make will bolster your claims of working so closely with this "Mr. King."
Just something slight will do. Certainly for someone with such vast resources as this Mr. King who recently made "a $100,000 dollar donation
in helping the clean up and victims of the oil spill" exactly what charity did he donate that money to?
I don't think it's too much to ask for some slight reference to any of this on the Internet besides your surrepticious post?
And being you apparently know so much about Mr. King, perhaps you can tell us why he strung all the members of this board along for nearly five years to,
in the end, late last year put out some sort of 8 page, no color, devoid of all Internet presence fold-up little nothing of a
news LETTER that wound up with a presence of total of ten copies on one news stands on the Upper East Side?
Remember-not in five posts down, not in four posts down, but in your very next post we need you to provide us with a bit of proof to substantiate
ANY of your claims about the good deeds of this "Mr. King" you speak so highly of.

T I O thanks for bringing up Mr. King, I remember when I lived in NYC I would always watch his show think it was Manhattan cable or some access channel
been a bit he was always a seemed like a cool cat I can remember the show with Ian Michael Smith's Simon Birch "IM sorry I'M sorry"
I loved that everybody now has facebook the world is changing if sb news is back out I want to get it and that would be great of the TV show comes out again
Mr. King seems like a rich nice man just helping others I've did some summer stock in SB I'M sure Mr. King just did his paper as a laugh since as

From what I have come up with the news reporter John King from CNN and John King from Show Biz News and movie and TV star are not the same
but John King from Show Biz News the movie and TV star is the news reporter John King from CNN's farther.
back in the day my dad use to deliver the paper for John King from Show Biz News the movie and TV star.
I met John King from Show Biz News the movie and TV star once when I was little and he gave me $100 and told me it is a secret between him and me.
I have never forgotten that.
Every Christmas John King from Show Biz News the movie and TV star sends $ and hundreds of dollars of food to our home
to celebrate the holidays.
were not poor people and we can afford this but John King from Show Biz News the movie and TV star just does this from
the goodness of his heart.
Like many others that have had the pleasure to be in his company they all have said they would take a bullet for him.

This is all so wonderful.
John King from Show Biz News the movie and TV star has been an inspiration to all actors and all types of people regardless
of career, race and religion.
As a child watching him enter floor to do the interviews on the TV show, he always reminded me of a dancer just floating above
the ground almost as if he was from a higher power. I would laugh so hard when he would have little Joe and the small squirrel do
the back flips. John King is maybe the greatest entertainer of our time.
I will never forget the moments when he would "read the cards"
