It seems from what is being said, John is 73 years old but is currently juggling
a new film, book and his paper Show Biz News which would all include Peter.
My sources tell me another 2 months before something may be none.

Just read in Peter's 2008 News page that John King told Peter to get in more movies so
he can win an Oscar in 2009.
Peter should win an Oscar in 2009. Peter is a one of a kind actor.

After reading the trades supposedly Peter was in contact with John King and JK is not doing to much these days still recovering from his stroke.
JK would like to get Show Biz News back out on the newsstands but need 110% effort to do so.
So until JK is feeling stronger everything on hold.
My personal feeling is at 73 and recovering from a stroke JK just may call it a day.
To put out a paper plus start a TV Talk show again is a full time job and it may just be to much for John King.

When I lived in Manhattan I always watched the The John King Show.
It was very much along the lines of the Johnny Carson Show except with a smaller budget.
Besides Peter I know Kevin Bacon was on the show, Pat Cooper and a few others.
They had some interesting guests such as Chairman Steve and The Nuclear Warrior.
Peter was the Ed McMahon of the show. He had the most dry and quickest sense of humor.

Personally I think peter is a comedic genius
When he worked on the John King show as Co - Host
John sometimes would ask him (out of the blue)
So what's the story of the day Peter and Peter would respond
with the most hilarious sharp witted story about nothing that
would make you pee in your pants.
Think Robin Williams but more precise and in a gorgeous man !!! |
