I had a chance to speak to Peter in NYC after a photo shoot for Maxim Magazine "October 2002" and hear are some of his thoughts! "I guess we can go anywhere we want to go," Peter said. "I don't know whether there's a place for me within contemporary culture or if there's a place for it in my head now, but I know there's an energy and a style which is worth pursuing and pushing a bit more. There's a kind of creative empathy I haven't been aware of for a long time. I believe the best is still yet to come"

Peter Austin Noto has never lost the urge to keep exploring. He takes the view that his past achievements will always be there for anyone who wants to check them out, so now he might as well exploit the freedom it affords him. He doesn't mind ripping everything up and starting again. His career has got to be an honest reflection of where he's coming from today. He will never compromise for the "Tides of Fashion".

I read in Maxim Magazine that Peter's feelings regarding working on Saturday Night Live since 1996 is a major moment for him because it is so incredibly stimulating and so moving. He is able to reinvent the past without it being a creative millstone. It must be so amazing working on that show plus ALL the other incredible work he has already achieved.

From all the rumors going around I heard Peter wants to avoid huge gigs and grand expectations and just wants to take it easy for awhile. With no pressure to speak of and just kick back and perform on shows and gigs he wants to do. I think that's so cool,...... just like Mr. Peter Austin Noto.

Checked Peter's 2008 News page and he did his 2nd photo shoot for Maxim Magazine as a sexy mobster.
The issue should be out in March 2008. I can not wait to see him again.

Just went thru my collection of Peter's stuff and found his first Maxim Magazine layout.
He last appeared in the magazine on October 2002 along with the
Joe Pesci look alike (I'm not sure of his name) I'll try to get it.

Due to the large volume of hits the Maxim Magazine thread has had for tomorrows release of Peter's ad in the magazine
The counter played tricks and went back to 0.

It's possible the powers to be were not able to get the layout ready for March.
The shoot took place on February 12 so having it ready for March ?????

Honey I was at the newsstand at 42nd street and almost screamed when I did not see Peter in Maxim. It's possible what you said, April may be when his layout comes out. next week I hopefully will get more details.
Now I'm going to play stalker and see if I can see Peter around 30 Rock for SNL tonight? I'm not a stalker I'm taking my niece around Manhattan so going to 30 Rock is one of our stops. |

This is only my 2nd post on the board, I've been more of a reader of the posts and looking at the photo's and video's of Peter.
I did post on the excellence thread back on 2/21/2008 as my first post.
You can feel the energy and the enthusiasm from the other posters regarding Peter.
Not seeing him in Maxim Magazine and later on Saturday Night Live stirred everybody up in a frustrating way.
Personally I purchase March's Maxim and felt confused why Peter was not in there or was I seeing him and he was in some kind of costume.
I will keep an eye on this board as it is turning out to be one of my pit stops during the day.
