I had a chance to speak to Peter in NYC after a photo shoot for Maxim Magazine "October 2002" and hear are some of his thoughts!
"I guess we can go anywhere we want to go," Peter said. "I don't know whether there's a place for me within contemporary culture or if there's a place for it in my head now,
but I know there's an energy and a style which is worth pursuing and pushing a bit more.
There's a kind of creative empathy I haven't been aware of for a long time. I believe the best is still yet to come"

Peter Austin Noto has never lost the urge to keep exploring. He takes the view that his past achievements will always be there for anyone who wants to check them out,
so now he might as well exploit the freedom it affords him. He doesn't mind ripping everything up and starting again.
His career has got to be an honest reflection of where he's coming from today. He will never compromise for the "Tides of Fashion".

I read in Maxim Magazine that Peter's feelings regarding working on Saturday Night Live since 1996 is a major moment for him because it is so incredibly stimulating and so moving.
He is able to reinvent the past without it being a creative millstone.
It must be so amazing working on that show plus ALL the other incredible work he has already achieved.

From all the rumors going around I heard Peter wants to avoid huge gigs with no grand expectations and just wants to take it easy for awhile.
With no pressure to speak of and just kick back and perform on shows and gigs he wants to do.
I think that's so cool,...... just like Mr. Peter Austin Noto.
