THE BROWNING VERSION

TAPT (The Artists' Playground Theatre)

Connecting art and humanity through theatre
Hello there everyone!

The Terence Rattigan masterpiece The Browning Version is being presented as a Staged Reading Event by TAPT at The Players Club on Gramercy Park, the gorgeous historic home away from home for New York actors.

The Browning Version is rarely performed in New York but sits amongst the canon of great British plays. The setting is a British public school where a retiring schoolmaster teaches and learns a great lesson in life.

The writing is sublime and the characters universal and at once engaging. The opportunity to see The Browning Version is a once in a decade joy, don't miss it.

We can't wait to see you there!

All our best,
The TAPT Team

Reviews:

“A thoroughly enjoyable work of modern day fiction. The Collectibles triumphs on all counts.” –Wordsmith

“I was spellbound by this book...so powerfully drawn of personal
integrity, and compassion and honesty and friendship… and a very deep kind of love where you really accept people just as they are. I highly recommend it.”–Jemila Ericson, host, NPR

I had the unique and wonderful opportunity to go to a private screening of the film. Michael Wolfe has done an outstanding job. The script is tight and the direction clear. I can't wait for the rest of the world to see it. Support Independent Film!
