The Luckiest Boy In The World

“Love her, love her, love her!
If she favors you, love her.
If she wounds you, love her.
If she tears your heart to pieces
and as it gets older and stronger, it will tear deeper
love her, love her, love her!”

Oh let the sun beat down upon my face
With stars to fill my dream
I am a traveler of both time and space
To be where I have been

Sit with elders of the gentle race
This world has seldom seen
Talk of days for which they sit and wait
And all will be revealed

Talk and song from tongues of lilting grace
Sounds caress my ear
But not a word I heard could I relate
The story was quite clear

Oh, baby, I been flying
No, yeah, mama, there ain't no denyin'
Ooh, yeah I've been flying
Mama, mama, ain't no denyin', no denyin'

All I see turns to brown
As the sun burns the ground
And my eyes fill with sand
As I scan this wasted land
Trying to find, trying to find where I've been.

Pilot of the storm who leaves no trace
Like thoughts inside a dream
Heed the path that led me to that place
Yellow desert stream

My Shangri-La beneath the summer moon
I will return again
Sure as the dust that floats high in June
When movin' through Kashmir.

Oh, father of the four winds, fill my sails
Across the sea of years
With no provision but an open face
Along the straits of fear

When I'm on, when I'm on my way
When I see, when I see the way, you stay

When I'm down
When I'm down, so down
Ooh, my baby, ooh, my baby, let me take you there
Come on, come on
Let me take you there, let me take you there.

This song was inspired by a drive through the Sahara Desert in Morocco when the band was heading to the National Festival of folklore in 1973. Robert Plant, who penned the majority of lyrics, explained, The whole inspiration came from the fact that the road went on and on and on. ...and there was seemingly no end to it."
This song's unique guitar riff is one of the most memorable guitar riffs in rock history. It was developed by Jimmy Page over the course of two years. The song's composition was inspired by Middle-Eastern, Moroccan, and Indian music.
At the time this song was composed, none of the band members had had ever been to Kashmir.
Robert Plant once said, "One of my favourite Zeppelin tracks because it possessed all the latent energy and power that wasn't heavy metal. It was something else. It was the pride of Led Zeppelin."
Jimmy Page and Robert Plant recorded a live 12-minute version of this song with a Moroccan/Egyptian orchestra for their album "No Quarter" in 1994

Monday November 12 .. all federal offices are closed

The question of, “Will mail be delivered on Columbus Day?” is answered with a giant “No.” All post offices and federal offices of any kind will be closed for the holiday, which means that no businesses nor homes will get mail. This also counts out USPS packages. According to USPS, because it is a federal holiday, all federal offices are closed.

Orthodox Christmas 2019
Monday, January 7
Christmas in Russia (Russian: Рождество Христово Rozhdestvo Khristovo, in the Russian Orthodox Church called Е́же по пло́ти Рождество Господа Бога и Спа́са нашего Иисуса Христа), commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, is celebrated on 25 December in the Julian calendar used by the church, which falls on 7 January in the common Gregorian calendar. Christmas is considered a high holiday by the Russian Orthodox Church, one of the 12 Great Feasts, and of only 4 Feasts preceded by a period of fasting. On Christmas Eve, 6 January, there are several long services, including the Royal Hours and Vespers combined with the Divine Liturgy. The family will then return home for the traditional Christmas Eve "Holy Supper", which consists of 12 dishes, one to honour each of the Twelve Apostles. Devout families will then return to church for the "всенощная" All Night Vigil. Then again, on Christmas Morning, for the "заутренняя" Divine Liturgy of the Nativity. Since 1992 Christmas has become a national holiday in Russia, as part of the ten-day
